Printed at Newspaper Club “Netizens” is a reinterpretation of Global South archives that intends to represent agency in this age of cyber governance and privatization. This re-appropriate images from global south netizens on Flickr during the time of Internet Centralization (2000s-2010s), looking at it through the lens of ownership and digital repatriation. Through defying Western design conventions of good and bad taste and kitsch through watermarking, this archive is presented as a form of resistance.
